So now that i have given an overview of the PHB races, time to look at a couple of new races i am considering.
Artovans: Nomadic humanoids, desert/tundra dwellers mostly. Physically, i am imagining them to be slightly insectile, perhaps with compound eyes and being hairless. Strong Oral tradition and believe in "the song of life". Bardic traditions. Perhaps pheremones that give them a bonus to diplomacy and intimidate.
Distrec: Bestial type humans. I imagine these to take the role of half orcs. Less intelligent, but not stronger, perhaps hardier (higher Con) instead. Perhaps a former slave race to the humans who have become "civilised" in some areas. Barbarian/fighters primary roles.
